M1 Abrams is America’s third generation main battle tank.
This was designed by the General Dynamics Land System.
Three main versions of the M1 Abrams have been used, M1, M1A1, and M1A2.
It was in service with the United States Army since 1980.

The T-14 Armata is Russia’s new main battle tank based on the Armata Universal Combat Platform. The Russian company Uralvagonzavod is responsible for design and development.
The Russian Army plans to obtain 2,300 T-14s in the 2015-2020 period.


On land, tank mobility is a very important parameter. The tank’s ability to move quickly across different terrain determines its effectiveness.

M1A2 is powered by the Honeywell AGT1500 gas turbine engine. Engine output peaked at 1,500 hp. The engine can use a variety of fuels, including jet fuel, gasoline, diesel and Marine Diesel.

The T 14 chassis and turret are equipped with a Malachit dual-Explosive reactive (ERA) reactive armor system on the front, side and top. The Abrams tank is equipped with Softkill Active Protection System, AN / VLQ-6 Missile Control Device (MCD) that can block functions guide system of several semi-active line of sight control wires (SACLOS) and anti-tank missile radio guides and infrared homing missiles. This only works against certain types of ammunition.
The T 14 Armata tank is equipped with the Afghanit Active Protection System, which includes a millimeter wavelength radar to detect, track, and intercept incoming anti-tank munitions such as kinetic energy penetrators and tandem costs.


As seen from the final score, the T 14 Armata has beaten A1M2 comprehensively. On a 1-1 basis, T 14 is a better tank, and is expected to win against A1M2.

The initial design of A1M2 is decades old, but it is still relevant because of the mid-level increase.
Abrams A1M2 is a respected tank and can beat most modern tanks.
