The Philippines Will Continue to Buy Russian Weapons Despite Allying with the US.
The Philippines will not stop buying weapons from Moscow, although there is a possibility of pressure from the United States (US). This was revealed by the Philippine Foreign Minister in response to reports Washington might impose sanctions for arms deals with Russia.
“I don’t think we will give up,” Alan Peter Cayetano said in Singapore at his meeting with Russian colleague Sergei Lavrov.
