Russia brings military trophies captured in Syria to Crimea
War trophies #Russia’s Defense Ministry says were captured in #Syria – including a tank and piles of weapons – rolled into Crimea aboard a train on Saturday.

The tour, launched in Moscow on February 23, is titled “Syrian Breakthrough” and aims to show off hardware captured by the Russian military during its Syrian campaigns in support of President Bashar al-Assad’s forces. The collection has already made it to two Crimean cities – Kerch and Sevastopol – and is to be displayed in dozens of cities across Russia.

Thousands of army cadets, men, women and children gathered in Kerch and Sevastopol during the weekend to glimpse the artefacts.

Exhibits included armoured personnel carriers, automatic rifles, pistols, drones and even a chemical laboratory that the ministry said Russia had captured from militants during joint operations with Syrian government forces.
