Western media called five deadly Russian weapons systems, for which the US should pay close attention
Number one is multi-purpose fighter jet SU-35. It is very fast, can rise to great heights and has a great combat load. One of the main advantages of the Russian fighter is a combination of the advanced features of high-altitude interception targets with lightning speed and a unique engine with increased draft. These characteristics in combination with the most advanced avionics make the SU-35 extremely dangerous opponent for American fighters.
Second on the list is non-nuclear submarine “Amur.” Despite the fact that the diesel-electric submarines are inferior in terms of atomic autonomous navigation, they work extremely silently and represent a great danger for surface warships. Submarine “Amur” differ special hull design that provides a minimum level of noise, and a powerful weapon system. Thus, modification of the “Amur-950” has four torpedo tubes and ten vertical launchers for anti-ship missiles.
Third place in the rank is the Russian T-90 tank, which is a deep modernization of the Soviet T-72. Russian car with decent military-technical characteristics is much cheaper than Western Leopard 2 or “Abrams”. T-90 characterized by advanced fire control system, by observation facilities, communication and navigation combined with an effective system of protection.
Fourth on the list is Russian universal anti-ship missile P-800 “Onyx”, based on which Russia and India have jointly established a missile complex “BrahMos”. Originally created to defeat the missile surface targets, but can also be used for land, with this, range of defeat increases several times. In the anti-ship option range of defeat is 300 kilometers, many times surpassing the performance of the American anti-ship missile “Harpoon”.
The anti-ship peroxide vapor-gas torpedoes “53-65”, created in Soviet times close the five of leaders. They can be extremely dangerous for US naval vessels, as they have a special active acoustic homing system, protection of which America has not tested yet.
Most of the mentioned types of weapons Russia successfully exports and the number of countries willing to buy its military equipment is steadily increasing.
